Terms and Conditions of use

Due to the low margin on all our products, we have a minimum purchase total of  $35 required in order to validate the order. Orders placed may take up to 2 business days to process. Please contact us immediately if you would like to cancel or modify an order! Once your order is in the process it can not be cancel or modify.

1. Shipping Policies 

Shipping costs: We utilizes UPS Commercial Rate database to figure real time rate charges for your order. The shipping amount calculated on our website is for estimate purpose, actual shipping costs may vary. If the difference is greater than 15 percent, we will call or email you for approval before processing your order.

 

Shipping Locations

We usually ships from our central distribution center located in NEW YORK. Shipping charges are automatically figured using this distribution center as a point of origin.

Split Shipments

For multiple-item orders, we will attempt to ship all orders complete from one location in the fewest number of shipping cartons required. Items will not be held for same time delivery.

Orders Damaged in Shipping

While every effort is made in packing and correctly filling your order, occasions will arise where a package is lost or damaged in transit. To insure your order is received complete and undamaged, we recommend the following:

1. Inspect the entire shipment for visible damage prior to accepting the shipment, and note any damage on the delivery ticket/bill of lading before the delivery person leaves.
2. Verify the number of packages delivered with the packing slip provided by CookingIdeal.
3. Unpack your order immediately and inspect for hidden or concealed damage.
4. Should any damage be discovered, retain the shipping carton and any inner packaging, request inspection immediately from the carrier as well as make a written request to the carrier. Hidden or concealed damage must be reported and an inspection requested within 5 days of delivery.

Then contact CookingIdeal via e-mail to inform us of the situation. Please write your order number, shipping information and tracking number when sending your e-mail.

Do not attempt to return any item to Cookingideal.com without a prior written authorization. Unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

Cookingideal.com is not responsible for damaged items accepted and signed for at the time of delivery. We will pay for return shipping to our distribution center for an item that was sent to you in error, received defective, damaged in shipping (assuming the damaged product falls under the aforementioned criteria in the paragraph above), or has failed under warranty.


2. Return Policy


Within 30 days of receiving your order, you may return, in its original carton for store credit only, but are subject to 15% restocking fee. 

Cost of shipping the original item, return shipment, and the cost of shipping an exchanged item, are the responsibility of the customer, in all cases except where CookingIdeal committed a shipping or order error. Round trip shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer on orders that are shipped by Cookingideal.com in good faith and are returned to us due to incorrect shipping information.

No item can be returned without prior written authorization. Items returned to Cookingideal.com without authorization will not be processed. To request a return authorization, contact: info@cookingideal.com.

3. Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use

CookingIdeal is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. CookingIdeal collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Registration

CookingIdeal allows customers that use this website to create an account registration that requires the completion of our registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as but not limited to name, email address, bill to and ship to address). This information is used to add a personalized experience to this website and to offer our customers ease of use during the order process. All information pertaining to our customers is stored in a secure database and non accessible by third parties. All contact information may be changed at anytime via our customer account interface.

Sharing

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Newsletter

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as your email address. CookingIdeal gives all subscribers the authority to add or remove themselves from our mailing list.

Tell-A-Friend

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend’s name and email address. CookingIdeal will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. CookingIdeal stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.

Security

This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just ‘surfing’.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected interfaces to gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on the privacy of our customers information, and what they can do to ensure our customer's information is protected at all times.

Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment, behind a series of security authentication mechanisms.

We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications by visiting your personal information under MY ACCOUNTS.

 

4. Canceling/Modifying an Order

 

Please contact us immediately if you would like to cancel an order! Once your order is in the process it can not be cancel.

Our warehouse works on the weekends to package orders up so they are ready for shipment on Monday morning. Although we do not ship on the weekends, if an order is packaged to ship over a weekend and billed out, the order is not able to be canceled. 

If we cannot cancel an order because it has already been processed, please see our returns procedures.

COOKINGIDEAL SALES AND USE TAX POLICY STATEMENT

 

We have prepared this sales tax policy statement to explain to you when and why we collect sales tax on your purchases.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Even if we do not collect sales tax from you, you may owe sales tax on your purchase.
